[FOX 26] ASTROS REMAIN INTERESTED IN PATTERSON

Ed Wade, Houston Astros General Manager, told FOX 26 Sports on Saturday that former Washington Nationals pitcher John Patterson has cleared waivers and is a free agent. Wade said the Astros have made contact with Patterson's agent, Houston-based Alan Hendricks, about potentially signing him.

i like the idea of signing Patterson, he could make a decent number 4 starter in the rotation. even though he sucked with the nationals last season

If he's not better than Woody, who is at BEST a mediocre 5th starter, how can he possibly be good enough to even crack the rotation?
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.
