I havn't bought a baseball game since the MVP series stopped being produced. I'd still rather play MVP 2005 than any of the new games.

Got the Show for PS3 and I've got say, it's handsdown the best baseball game ever. My MVP 05 is officially shelved for good.

Loving The Show right now. I just drafted my Franchise (after playing Road to the Show a lot) and its pretty sick.

Batting order:
Hanley Ramirez SS
Robinson Cano 2B
Chris Young LF
Justin Morneau 1B
Vernon Wells CF
Garrett Atkins 3B
Josh Hamilton RF
JR Towles C
Pitcher spot (I am the DBacks, I like playing with NL teams)

On my bench I have Lind, Jose Valentin, Mike Sweetney as my PH supreme/DH, Jacoby Ellsbury to name a few.

My pitchers leave much to be desired though.

My rotation:
Cole Hamels
Chad Billingsly
Ian Snell
dont remember this one...a lefty though....Gorzelanny maybe
Jesse Litsch

My bullpen includes:
Joakim Soria as my CL
Ryan Dempster as my SU
JC Romero
Salmon Torres
Casey Janssen
Jon Lester
George Sherrill

Your pitching staff looks about as solid as BJ Ryan's elbow.
I'm thinking about biting the bullet and trying out this game. I still have the PS2, so you think it'd be worth it?

Right now I'm playing mvp 05 for the PC. Using mods I have current rosters, current uniforms, and current stadiums. Here's a picture of what I'm playing right now.

bolstered my pitching by trading Billingsly and Wells for Halladay and Delmon Young. my 4th starter is Oliver Perez, not Gorzelanny
