What we need to win this year.

Barry Bonds, I just dont understand why are team only goes half way to win. After what we gave up to get Bedard, you would think this would be a no-brainer.Am I the only one here that thinks Bonds would put us over the top? What about you guys what do you think about this left handed power hitter? Or is the great Vidro the reason we don't bring on Barry? :banghead:

It would be a Faustian bargain, that's for sure. This franchise leads the majors in steroid suspensions, so I doubt they want this kind of PR.

Decent defense in LF this year might be needed to win this year. Watching this ST game tonight, Ibanez played a ball poorly that lead to a double...and the runner came around to score. What's Kenny Lofton doing these days?

I say that half-jokingly...look at their stats last year and compare this team with Ibanez in LF and Vidro at DH, with Ibanez at DH, Lofton in LF, and Vidro on the bench.

I would seriously boycott the M's if they signed Bonds. No effin way.
