This game is so not gonna happen anyways, so don't worry about it

I swear there is a conspiracy to make me not be able to watch this game.

First I have class until 2:05 (I'd skip, but its an exam review), then I have a meeting that was rescheduled from last Monday at 2:30, then I have a meeting scheduled last second at 3:00.

Just depressing.

Yeah, no chance. 90% chance of rain / 20-30 mph winds. I don't understand why the opening series couldn't be in milwaukee to avoid such disappointment.

why are the first 4 games all at 1, during the week?
Do they hate me and not want me to watch?

Wrigley Field has a lot more day games than other stadiums due to the Wrigleyville neighborhood and rules that they have lined up.

Anyone know when FSNHD is going to be added to Charter in Madison like they claim?

I am assuming that since they said it will be added "for Brewers season" that we can expect them to exhaust their unlimited resources and get it up and running some time around early to mid October?

WEATHER UPDATE: Better news fellas. According to weather.com there's only a 50-60% chance of rain and 10-15 mph winds.

Fielder expected to play Monday
By Tom Haudricourt
Sunday, Mar 30 2008, 04:22 PM

First baseman Prince Fielder, who didn't play in the Brewers' final exhbition game Saturday because he had early symptoms of a possible bout with the flu, didn't work out with the team this afternoon at Wrigley Field, staying in the team hotel instead.

I talked with media relations director Mike Vassallo and he had spoken with Fielder, who said he was feeling a little better. Vassallo said it was merely precautionary that Fielder did not work out at damp, chilly Wrigley.

Fielder is expected to be in the lineup Monday for the season opener against the Cubs, but it might not matter if the weather forecast is correct. It's supposed to rain long and hard, which might get the opener kicked back to Tuesday (a scheduled off day in case of bad weather).

Whoever scheduled these teams to play in Wrigley instead of 90 miles to the north under the roof of Miller Park should have his head examined. It makes no sense whatsoever, especially when the Brewers return to Wrigley before the end of the month.

It makes a lot of sense to go to Chicago twice in the first month and not even once in the great indoors in Milwaukee, doesn't it?

I bet they are going to get this game in but I expect a delay in the middle of the game.

Great Mets prediction. You were right they didn't make the playoffs.

What a bummer, if this game gets snow/sleet/rained out. Would be nice if it could get delayed until 3:30 so I could get home to watch it, but since the weather seems to get worse as the day goes on, I don't see that happening. And that makes me a sad panda
