He is a Left fielder. PEROID.
Please bring up Pie before this season is lost.
Enough of the Soriano project please.

That way you could put Floyd/Murton in Left, Pie in Center, Jones in right (until Jones gets traded)
Put DeRosa/Theriot at short if they can play short or even put Soriano at short.
And bring Izzy/Cedeno down to the minors
He's not moving back to the infield. He's a terrible infielder.
Shortstop??? Wow that would be a mess.
Future of this team:
Soriano - LF
Pie - CF
Colvin - RF
For this year:
Pie - CF
Soriano - LF
Floyd/Murton - RF
Jones traded.

Soriano in Left, and bat anything but leadoff.

It's an obvious waste of Alfonso's ability to put him in the leadoff role. I want Theriot or Murton there for now, but we should call up Felix. If his hitting is consistent in the bigs, he can leadoff.
With Ramirez out, it's more critical than ever to move Sori back into the middle of the order to give it more power.
