Who to drop?

Post#1 » by theman » Tue Apr 1, 2008 3:19 pm

I think I need another pitcher. So I am thinking of dropping one of the following.

Scott Rolen (Hurt)
Mark Teahen
B.J. Ryan (Hurt)

I have Teixera at first
Akinori Iwamura and Hank Blalock at 3rd
Nathan, Hoffman and Lyon as closers.

Is it possible to drop more than one? If so, rid yourself of Rolen and Teahen. Neither are worth much of anything. At least Ryan should gain a save or two if healthy.

Two DL spots populated currently with Beckett and Kazmir

Then yes, Rolen AND Teahen are likely worth dropping. I would drop Rolen first since he is an injury risk. At least Teahen could be a healthy body in a very big off day around the league.
