Subway Question

Post#1 » by Santoki » Tue Apr 1, 2008 9:18 pm

Hey guys,

I am coming from out of town for my first Yankee game (had to catch one before they tore it down).

I am staying in New Jersey and I just want to know the best way to get to the game. I realize parking is a disaster around the ball park, so I figure we'll take the subway.

If we are coming from Carlstadt, NJ, what is the best course of action? Anyone know where we can park and take the subway from/which is the best place to leave from? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. We are planning to go out in Manhattan on the saturday night. Anyone have any suggestions for a bunch of mid 20 year olds in town for one night? Also, how accessible is the subway/train/bus system to Manhattan from Carlstadt? Thanks again.

i dont know the NJ Transit train stop in or near Carlstadt. But take a train from NJ to Penn Station.

If you're going during a weekday:
Then take the A subway to 125th Street and transfer for the B train. Take the B train to 161st St.

If your going during a weekend:
Take the A subway to 125th St and transfer for the D train. Take the D train to 161st St.
