Johjima has been raking the ball. Glad to see the offense come alive. Finally. Would also like to see more quality starts from our pitchers.

its good to see Beltre get a HR. It seemed like that last two years it took him forever to hit his first one. Beltre has to produce.

Good game today,I have been watching some other teams today and i will say one thing our defense is about the best out there. Batista looked good and the team finally hit, lets win a few in a row guys and show were then a .500 team.By the way Snelling hit a HR and had 3 ribbies today.I still hate you Bill Bavasi!

He wouldn't of hit one for us. That's how it works for the mariners.

Yeah, bu I'm hoping this board can be a "Snelling free zone"...I mean I can't read any game threads anywhere without people constantly pining for the guy. I wish he was still here, but he's not, that deal's long done...let's all have a group hug and just move on. :)

...and today I'm glad we have Vidro hitting third. 2HR, 4 RBI? Wha?!

JOSE VIDRO FOR MVP!

But really, its nice to see him swinging the bat well. You know it would come eventually.

Same with Beltre. He's been hitting the ball hard all year and is getting some results now.

Ichiro's now batting .290...the tales of his demise are greatly exaggerated. He always has slumps, and he always breaks out of them.

We're destroying Texas...this is great!

Our offense has done it again! 14 runs nice. The thing is that we're doing against the TEX pitching staff which is mediocre. But great to see everyone hitting well.

Adrian Beltre is a beast. Damn, I seriously hope he can keep up his power through the season. Whats encouraging is that his power numbers have been the thing to come along LASTLY the past few years.

The top three guys in our order just murdered! They were a combined 9-14! SHESH!

Good win. It's nice to see that Batista and Ramirez have the ability to stay in the game for more than 2 or 3 innings....those first couple of games were a bit frightening.

nice win! i think the Ms needed another complete series to start the offense and see what they have in their bats.

todays perfomance should get everybody their confidence back, and maybe from now on, ichiro, vidro and beltre start being the players we all at least expect them to win.

now the offense and the pitching has to be more balanced so the Ms have a real shot.

I really do like our starting rotation, with the exception of Weaver. Hernandez, Washburn, Ramirez, and Batista are all guys that can get double digit wins with respectable ERAs.

I've never liked Jeff Weaver. We overpayed to get him, but hey, lets hope he surprises me.

Well at least Weaver only has a one year deal. I dont want to get too excited about the wins because I know how fast we can start sucking. Yet its still really nice to see.

Not really. Its not like the NBA where expiring contracts have value. Pretty much if you suck in baseball you wont garner anything back.

I wasn't that impressed by Ramirez. He's not going to miss many bats and he's entirely dependant on his fielders. He'll fill out the back of the rotation alright but he's certainly going to have games where he gets lit up and puts too many men on base.

He's not terrible, but he's not worth what we gave up to get him.

Making such a bold prediction is pretty ridiculous, especially when he's only had ONE start for our ballclub.

Give him a year before you start with that.

Nice to see Icihro finally show up and Vidro looked like the 300 hitter we traded for.Betre hitting for power while were still in the race is a nice plus also.maybe just maybe this team can compete this year.
