I got a dumb question...

Is Graffanino still under contract with us? I know he had the ACL and what not but is he still under-contract?

See if we did that Tony Gwynn Jr. would've been playing a ton last year while he was "hot" while Corey Hart sat. Oh wait, that did happen and it was stupid.

This is Gabe Kapler and Gabe Gross we're talking about. It's a completely different situation. It's not as if we have hopes for Gross to be an everyday player like we did with Hart. We're just trying to get by until Gwynn gets back and eventually Cameron as well. Thus, it is stupid NOT to play the guy who has the hot bat right now.

And you're fully aware that both are and always have been bench players right? And that Kapler has done his damage against LEFT HANDED PITCHERS? It's not like we have hopes that Kapler becomes an everyday player so go with the guy that has PROVEN he is better against right handed pitchers.

Melvin can cut Gross now. He'll never be more than a bum.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Glad to see Yost forfeiting by bringing in McDung.

That's exactly my point. Both have been, are, and always will be bench players. So why wouldn't you go with the guy who is swinging a red hot bat right now since all we're doing is waiting for our starting center fielder to get back?

I think Gross' performance tonight speaks for itself and makes my point pretty well.

I answered why. Because he's not good against right handed pitching and has done his damage this year against left handers. Jesus.

He waived the white flag when T-Blow came in last inning.

This loss wouldn't hurt as bad if we didn't have to see Harang tomorrow.

McDung is giving Bush a case for the bullpen.

Bye-bye McDung.

First of all, the stats you showed for their career numbers against right handed pitching weren't that different.

Want stats?

Gabe Gross is now hitting a whopping .091 for the season
Kapler is hitting .438

At least Kapler does damage against SOMEBODY

If McFeces is still on this team when Yo gets back I burn down Yost's house.

Well, playing optimist, we are still going to be in first after 8 games without Gallardo and Cameron, who are both in our top 10 players probably.
