Jays were looking sharp after sweeping Boston but were seriously put down after being swept by the Oakland Athletics. Failing to put over runs on the board, holding leads or pitching, they were beaten in late game situations all 3 times. Aj Burnett struggled, McGowan danced with the devil and Accardo was choking on air.
They head south to Arlington where they face the Texas Rangers. A team that is rebuilding, or so it seems. Texas is coming off 2 straight wins over the Baltimore Orioles. For the Jays to win, they are going to have to keep the ball in the park as they do fly in Arlington. They hand the ball to a young Jessie Litsch whose had luck on his side lately. Hopefully that'll snap the Jays 3 game slide and start a new streak.
Lets bring out the bacon and get ready to roll over this weekend series in Texas. Looking for a bounce back in a big way.

After three late-inning losses in their last three home games, the Toronto Blue Jays are heading somewhere that will conjure up even worse memories.
The Blue Jays will look to end a long streak of struggles in Arlington as they begin a three-game series with the Texas Rangers on Friday.
Toronto (4-5) - fresh off three straight home losses to Oakland - was swept convincingly in their only series at Texas in 2007, getting outscored 21-7 in three losses.
