Leyland announces batting order for Opening Day

Before Sunday afternoon's workout at Comerica Park, Tigers manager Jim Leyland announced his Opening Day lineup.

3B Brandon Inge

Right-hander Jeremy Bonderman will be the starting pitcher for Monday's game, slated for 1:05 p.m. against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Im looking forward to a great season and a return to the WS (with different results).

Well...I'm kinda the default mod for Lions & Tigers and as a global will be on the Wings board as well. I wouldn't say "running" so much as overseeing for the time being. The hope is that some knowledgable, insightful poster will distinguish themself as the frontrunner for the full time position.

For all you members wondering how you can get such a position please do not campaign. It won't get you anywhere. If anybody is truly interested the best thing you can do is try to be a good poster and then we'll approach you if we feel you may be a good candidate.

As long as Granderson cuts his strikeouts down, that lineup has the chance to be pretty lethal.. For the first time in a long time, we actually have some players who are capable of working the count
