I know it's early but Beckett already looks like a completely different pitcher this year. He mixes up his pitches much better, has more control over his curve and the change and he uses his fastball much more effectively. What I really like is that he often tries to put hitters away with his fastball now after he got ahead with off speed stuff... we saw against Ichiro what that can do to opposing hitters.

11 of the Red Sox next 13 games are against Toronto and New York. BJ Ryan, Reed Johnson and Troy Glaus are on the DL. New York's rotation is hilarious. Now is the time to pick up some serious ground.
