Gary Sheffield chase to 500 home runs.

Post#1 » by m23uza1hem36 » Tue Apr 15, 2008 11:28 pm

I figured to make this to appreciate Sheffield's chase to 500 home runs.

He hit his first home run of the season April 15th Vs. The Minnesota Twins.

Career # home runs now; 484,
last HR, 6/23/08 Vs. Cardinals

16 home runs from 500.

I love Sheffield. I'm hoping he is able to have a full season this year with without further injuries. We never really saw his full potential in our line-up last year.

Only 19 more to go. I would love to see him hit it this season. If he can get his swing back and his shoulder healed... he could crush it hopefully.

He hit 25+ last year with a ton of injuries. He'll get it this year by far as long as he can bat.

Barring a major mishap, he'll get his 500th with a Tiger. Thats nice....
