Okay guys,

I just picked up Pelfrey.

You think hes going to have a good year. Hes young, got great stuff and is highly touted prospect.

How dare you say I think he's going to have a good year. I said no such thing.

So you think he will be a CY Young winner? :D

Okay though, seriously what kind of numbers do you expect from him?

If he stays in the rotation:

4.85 ERA, 8 W, 10 L, 150 IP, 150 H, 100 K, 75 BB.
0:01.8 A. Walker makes 3-pt shot from 28 ft (assist by E. Williams) +3 109-108

Unless it's a keeper league, probably.

I bet there are better guys on the wire you're not telling us about, though.

Seriously,

you wouldnt believe how competitive this league is.

Meche is literally the best pitcher on the waiver wire. Its a very deep league and I go in with 12 of my buddies who love baseball just as much as I do. HAHA. Therefore its really entertaining and competitive.

So as a result you end up having to take fliers on guys like Pelfrey. :)

Meche is a much better pitcher right now than Pelfry. Take Meche.

If Meche is sitting on the waiver wire then it's not as competitive a league as you speak of. That said, I actually just picked up Pelfrey in a very competitive league :-)
