Not being a Yankee fan, it's really pretty entertaining stuff.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

Alright, Tigers take the final game of their series with the Jays.

That brings their record up to a lofty (gasp) .350!

You know you've got issues when their are 10 players in the majors with a batting average higher than your win percentage. I know its early and most of those averages will go down, but just a disturbing observation I made....

Chipper's play has been downright absurd this year.

Red Sox like to swing these around instead of bats.

Lot of room out in CF for Torii Hunter's range to get exposed.

;)

It is absurd, and this is odd: I've been playing MLB 2k8 as the Braves, and through the same amount of games, Chipper has the same BA and one more home run.

Felix Pie finally gets a home run tonight.
Cubs go to 13-6 on the year.

Chipper with a bad night tonight. 1-3, walk and a sac fly. He got a hit robbed from him. :(

But more than just Chipper, the Braves have really picked up. Over the 5 game win streak they have outscored their opponents 31-6. Best part about that is we have Glavine, Soriano, Moylan, Hampton and Gonzalez out. Moylan should be the only one we don't get back some time this year.

There is not a major league manager that is more incompetent than Ned Yost.

Mark Reynolds with one more on his way to 763. Michah Owings is hitting .333. I wonder how good he'd be if he were a positional player. He has a career 135 OPS+ as a hitter so far in his career.

I'd rather just fire the current one and hire someone who understands just how bad our lineup really is.

"And the manager for your Seattle Mariners.....Philip Nelson Fan!"

We can make this happen. We have the ability.
