Astros vs Padres 2-game series(Mon. 21 - Tues. 22)

Astros are putting a thumping on the Padres right now, 10-2 in the 5th inning. 5 runs in the 1st inning alone. Nice.

Man if they could just swing the bats like this more consistantly it'd make me a happy man.

Atleast it looks like one Houston team has a chance to win tonight!
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

I was just about to post this. 10 runs...wow! Hopefully Valverdung doesn't blow it.

Peavy vs Backe tonight. Let's hope we can carry over some of that offense against Peavy and get a bit of revenge from the 1st game of the season.

Let's also hope Backe doesn't suck it up.

GO ASTROS.

I took a nap after Backe gave up the 3-run HR. He was pitching really well until then, but I was tired and didn't want to see them choke the game away.

Nice to see that they responded offensively, and even though they gave up 4 runs later on in the 8th inning they bounced right back with 4 of their own, and Valverde apparently nailed it down without giving up any runs.

They've quietly won 3 in a row and overall been playing pretty decent baseball, let's hope they can keep it going. I'm tired of being under .500. We're better than that. Maybe not playoff better but .500 or better damnit.
