The Reds are 5-6 at home and 2-8 in the last 10. We are heading in the wrong direction at a very fast pace. Will this be the game that the offense comes to life?

We sent Juan Castro down for assignment yesterday, meaning he is lost and available to sign with another team. The Reds will have to eat his salary unless another team picks him up. I heard the GM talking about all of the scenario's he will be working on to try and find Castro a new home.
He went on to say that something similar to this (another roster move) will have to be done when Ross comes back, and he is close to comming back according to what they were saying during the game last night.

Reds Team Report April 22nd

Infielder Juan Castro, 35, was designated for assignment and the Reds called up Jerry Hairston Jr. from Class AAA Louisville, where he was hitting .421. Castro was 0-for-10. If the Reds can't make a trade for Castro, they'll owe him nearly $975,000.

Looks like a pretty good win...too bad I don't get FSN, we've got good pitching so far and you know our offense will come around.

You must have brought some luck with that post.

Hairston was just called up and in his first game with the club he gets the start. Dusty plugs him in the leadoff spot and he goes 4-5 with 3 RBI and he stole a base.

Votto collected 3 hits, Dunn and Keppinger added a couple of hits, and the Reds as a team got 15 hits. I hope this is a sign of good things to come.

Volquez went seven innings, had 7 K's, lowered his era to 1.21, and improved his record to 3-0.

I believe next up is a 2 game home stand against the stro's before we take this circus act back out on the road.

nice win tonight Reds
