Lester/Halladay--7:05 PM on NESN.
Matsuzaka/McGowan--7:05 on NESN.
Wakefield/Burnett--7:05 on NESN.

Yikes. Can't say I'm diggin' those pitching matchups too much. The losing streak will probably last a bit longer.

It's cool. Blue Jays suck a big one more often than not. The exchange rate on the ERAs really hurts the Blue Jays when they leave Canada.

I just hope Lester can go at least 5 innings so I don't have to watch Javier Lopez, Mike Timlin, and Julian Tavarez all in the same game.

You got more than that. Too bad the offense is still MIA.

That might've been the best game of Lester's career (had a gem vs. KC his rookie year that was close, without checking the box score).

15 ground outs to 3 air outs...beautiful. Roy Halladay wasn't too bad himself with 15 ground outs to 5 air outs (was 15-1 at one point).

2 outs nobody on and they scored in the 9th, wasn't expecting that. Big hit by Youkilis and just an unreal and very timely play by Pedroia in the top of the 9th.

Yay! Lester. Yay! Vernon Wells backing up his gold glove resume.

Another good game today! Too bad Dice couldn't get the win. It always seems when he gives up 1 or 2 runs he gets a loss or ND, and then wins games where he gives up 4+ runs. I thought for sure Manny was going to get gunned out at the plate, but somehow he made a hell of a slide.
