Series Thread: Minnesota Twins @ Seattle Mariners

Post#1 » by Sweezo » Wed Apr 18, 2007 3:48 am

...and the series is off to a roaring start. My God, Jeff Weaver is simply terrible. He was even getting hit around in the innings where he avoiding allowing runs on the board. He may not walk people, but he's just serving up batting practice out there.

For every game Felix wins, Weaver's going to lose one.

The Twins decided to score all of their runs tonight because they know they'll get nothing tomorrow.

We tried that with Santana. It was nice for awhile, but eventually the clone's elbow blew out.

Ortiz looked great last night,This team is going to be great or awful it all depends on starting pitching. As good as Ortiz looked Weaver looked that bad,man I hope they turn him into a 8 million dollar batting practice machine! Oh thats right Boston and Minnesota has.

Jeff Weaver is baseball's equivalent to Jerome James.

I can't believe we wasted so much money on Weaver. Maybe Felix should give him so pointers or something. I would love the Felix clone army, that would be great.

Hopefully the King can show the Twinkies how its done tonight. I predict 15K's and another shutout.

Well, the shutout is out of the picture before any one got out. Now, the king asked for the trainers and is out after 1/3 of an inning. That'll hurt the bullpen

Wow i am depressed. Our only hope for a solid season could be out for a while. I guess we don't know for sure what happened yet but that is a huge blow to the M's.

Tightness in the elbow. Hopefully it isn't that serious.

I'd imagine King Felix will be out at least a month.

And I hate Julio Mateo. Hasn't Hargrove learned that you can't hand him inherited baserunners? There's a reason this guy poached so many wins last season, and it's not because he's any good.
