Rasner with 76 pitches through 6 innings. Hopefully Girardi keeps him in for 7 or 8 innings. Then use Britton or Ross for the 9th.

dont matter wat u got if u cant locate it

He can locate his stuff. He just had a tough month. He has no confidence right now. But he has had consistently good control in the minor leagues and in college. His good control will come back soon.

What do you expect from Jeter? He's like this every year...he's Mr. Consistent.

we shall see, both him and phi cant hack it in the majors, a sucessful minor league stint doesnt translate to a sucessful mlb stint

His track record for game management was pretty good with the Marlins from everything i've heard. I really don't get why he's trying to emulate Torre all of a sudden.

Rasner should've been in the rotation a week ago. An excellent outing for him today and much better than what we have been getting from the back of our rotation.

Glad to see the offense is finally starting to get rollin' too (kudos to Damon for hitting well).

I am suprised with melky, I mean 6 HR's already.. wow.. it was funny, a while ago some sox fan was telling us that ellsbury had more power than melky... Ellsbury looks more like a slap, spray hitter if you ask me... but the thing about melky is that he is hitting some homers off of some real good pitchers...

Agreed. I thought that maybe at his peak he might hit 15-18 home runs the way he was going. This year he is on pace to hit 30 home runs. I guess Melky doesn't want A-Jack or Gardner to be knocking on his door in a couple months. It's funny how the cheapest position player on the team has easily been the best over the year. Arbitration is coming up. -Jitpal
