Just got back from the game.

Halladay has worth the price of admission. This guy is awesome. Even after giving up the 3 runs, he came back and shut down the white sox.

Lind looked awful today. Swinging at bad pitches. Batting a stellar .055 :banghead: Send him back to AAA. He doesn't belong with the big league team. We should bring someone else up, or trade for some help.

Only 26,000 showed up for the game today. I would have liked the number to have been a bit higher, seeing how our ace was pitching today and it's a Sunday. Let's hope the fans get behind this team and show their support.

Matt Stairs was great today. 2 doubles in consecutive at bats. He's turning out to be one of my fav Jays this season.

That Eckstein play was a tough play. He made a good play to glove the ball, but he was off balance with his throw. It has a difficult play all around. We're lucky Chicago escaped with only 3 runs in that inning. Halladay pitched his way out. That was great to watch.

The fans started booing Gibbons when he pulled Halladay in the 7th inning. Everyone wanted him to complete another game.

After that big inning of ours, the bats went cold the rest of the game. I do see improvements in Wells, Stairs, Rios play as of late. Let's hope the rest of the team picks it up.

Terrible baserunning mistake by Uribe to stay put on a dribbler to a weak-armed SS playing deep, but a great job by McGowan to pitch his way out of the third.

Edit: corrected my light-hitting White Sox infielders.

The Jays and Sox, scoreless through six? Who'da thunk it.

Great outing for McGowan...he wasn't nibbling, and looked to be able to throw his fastball for strikes and his off-speed stuff was baffling.

Defensive replacement time, Gibby. One run game, runner on; put McDonald in there!

Yes great outing by McGowan, now let's hope he takes this pitching on the road where he has struggled.

Both teams are making the opposition pitchers look like all stars this series.

I am just wondering if Eckstein has done anything worthwhile lately? His bat isn't given us the edge either and his defense is nowhere close to Johnny Mac's..

Another solid outing by McGowan.. he has Ace stuff on him.. Thank God for Matt Stairs.. he was probably pissed that the Habs got eliminated and took it out on the pitcher with that HR.. Our pitching saved us today again as the bats went silent ONCE MORE!

I like the lineup today. Stewart batting second, and Eckstein moved all the way down. Hopefully this will get the bats rolling. Zaun has played much better as of late. Overbay is still struggling.

Ryan makes me nervous, but I will give him his props for somehow surviving through the jams he puts himself in.

Come on Jays!!! We haven't had a monster streak in the last 15 years. Let's hope we can string at least 8 in a row!

Honestly, this series we just got lucky our offense sucked slightly less than against the Red Sox, we could've easily lost 3 of the 4 games if it weren't for our amazing pitching. I hope our offense can show some signs of life against the Rays.

Overbay has an OBP of over .400 VS righties. That's unbelieveable. Granted he isn' t driving in the runs, but who is??? And in his much referenced year of 06, he hit 1 double in all of april, this year he had 2 so technically he's actually doing better than that year. Give him time, he'll come around
