So, basically, you want to cut Philly out and deal Zo and Johnson for Pietrus? I'd do it.
I don't think Zo can be traded (wouldn't agree to anything outside of Miami). I'd actually take Smush and Johnson (see other thread I just started). Of course this is me, not my compadres or the Warriors front office. We need a 3rd string point and I couldn't think of a better 3rd stringer than Smush. lol.

Evans does have one. I thought his rebounding might be something that GS could use though.
Evans has none of the skills Nellie wants in the PF position and he's too short to be a shot blocker at center. I don't have to point out his obvious offensive deficiencies.
That translates into never getting off the Warrior's bench.
The W's aren't dealing for players that don't fit their system, it's that simple.
Same goes for anything involving any other forward that doesn't stretch defenses out to the three point line on offense. The Warriors aren't interested.

Evans averages about $4.5 mill over another 3 1/2 yrs. I'm very much of the opinion the W's NEED a physical/rebounder type,at least as a role player. However, the $$$ factor is a bit much for a guy I'd see as 10-15 min. Worse...MY view and Nellie's ain't the same. I think a guy who WON'T jack a 3 would be a good addition. Nellie? He's play a lineup of munchkins in they could run and hit from 25 ft.
Alex Johnson? I like him,but he's a guy who needs to play some to polish his game. That could happen with Phila...won't with GSW....unfortunately. The Sixers pay off the rest of Mourning's deal?
Well...I'm not sure they see moving Evans as a plus in itself. They got him with their eyes open.
This does come down to GSW adding payroll when NOT adding payroll appears to be on the agenda. Even if Troy Hudson was added, that only makes it a break even for this season.
