Man this Raptor hater is in every thread...
I think any GM who's trying to rebuild would rather have Bargs and his rookie salary than Sammy D.
I wouldn't say any, though many would. However, we're not debating Dalembert vs. Bargnani. We're discussing Dalembert, Miller, Evans, and a pick for Bargnani and cap space. That's one of the players considered to be a major building block, a guy the GM is a huge fan of, a talented rebounder with an admittedly poor contract, and a future asset for a bit of a project with less than impressive defensive stats, offensive numbers that are, at least for this year, worse than Daly's, and energy issues. And cap space, but the more proven assets we trade away, the less attractive we'll be to the people we want to use that space on. I wouldn't be surprised to see Evans and Green moved along (somehow) and both Miller and Dalembert stay put, so we at least have some veteran talent to point to when we explain how we're going to become a winning team.
I'm not sure Bargnani is a good enough fit with what Philly wants to do that it's worth giving up almost all our legitimate tradable assets for him, including two players the GM's on record as saying he's not in favor of moving if he can help it.
