I probably agree with that. That being said, a perfect player with a perfect record isn't going to get traded. Is this the time to take a chance or is this another Jalen Rose redux? The world may never know.

Hinrich and Noc are both BYC so whoever came up with this rumor doesn't know what they're talking about because it's virtually impossible to trade them together.
However, if we can get McGrady for a deal in which Hinrich is the centerpiece then that's a deal I would be all for doing. McGrady is still good enough to be a legit first option in the league and with Gordon and Deng as the second and third options on offense we might be able to make some noise in the playoffs.
Doesn't seem likely to happen because Houston would want significantly more than Hinrich.

I'd always thought of propane as a dignified lady. But she can also be a dirty girl.

he's never been past the first round in any playoffs
yet, i would take him ONLY if Wallace leaves in the deal

I'm not a big McGrady guy, but I'd go for this deal if it was Hinrich + Nocioni (would have to be in the off season) or Hinrich + Wallace.
Losing Wallace or Nocioni would not be a negative to this franchise. I know McGrady is hurt a lot, and his issues do seem chronic, but he's only got 2 more years after this one. You're not giving up an irreplaceable player in Hinrich, and losing one of the other guys would just create the room we need in the front court to help give our young guys minutes.
McGrady would really ease the pressure on Gordon by helping to create double teams and probably get him a lot of open looks. He can also draw fouls and become a goto player to an extent.
While McGrady has never gotten out of the first round, it was McGrady + Crap in Orlando, and Houston plays in the west where they've had to go up against awesome teams in the first round. If he was on the Bulls as constructed and healthy come play off time, then it's more or less a lock that we'd move on IMO.

I found Hinrich, Nocioni, Smith, and Curry for T-Mac, Snyder, and head.
Trading Hinrich for McGrady, then getting some Head out of the deal sounds good.
PG-Kirk Hinrich
SG-Shane Battier
SF-Andres Nocioni
PF-Joe Smith
C- Yao Ming
Rebuilds their starting lineup a ton.
Gives us 4 main bigs in Tyrus, Noah, Gray, and Wallace. It'd be wise to bring in Webber.

That trade doesn't work on trade checker.

I forgot Thabo on the Bulls side.
Then it works, and Houston gets their Thabo.
PG-Chris Duhon/Luther Head
SG-Tracy McGriddle/Ben Gordon
SF-Luol Deng/Kirk Snyder Pretzels
PF-Ben Wallace/Tyrus Thomas
C- Aaron Gray/Joakim Noah
Like I said, I'm uneasy with the 3 youngings being 75% of our frontcourt. I'd look to bring in a vet like Webber for the rest of the year if we made this trade.

A few big ifs, but IF the Rockets want to move T-Mac and IF they're willing to take back Wallace, and IF the Bulls are willing to take back some wasted filler, then the following deal works:
Wallace, Hinrich, and Noc
McGrady, Scola, Mike James, Head
Personally I think both Wallace and Kirk would thrive playing alongside a big in Ming.
BG/Duhon
McGrady/Head
Deng/Sefolosha
TT/Scola
Noah/Smith/Gray
Kirk/Alston
Wells/Francis
Battier/Noc
Wallace/Hayes
Ming/Mutombo

Even if T-Mac only gives us 60 games per year, I'd still do this deal as it opens up our frontcourt giving us a nice 4 man rotation in Deng/TT/Scola/Noah with Smith and Gray filling in spot minutes.

I think Houston may seriously consider such a deal. Problem is the Bulls may not offer it up. I think they would like the fact that Yao and Wallace would be really tough to drive to the basket on.
