All that matters is that it came down to the Nets getting a call and the Magic not getting a call (twice). Which mirrored the whole game. So bitch away, I say

Well that is exactly why NBA refs are pathetic. In no other sport is there such disparity in how things are called from player to player.
The NBA has always been a subjective sport.
Three sets of rules :
1- Superstar rules
2- Home court rules
3- Clod rules ( for guys like DeClerq, Doleac, etc)
Still, the Magic did not lose because of this. Better execution, better bench play, and better defense would have prevented the loss tonight.
Basketball is driven by three principles:
1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

LOL and this is your way of saying that the game was FAIRLY called???
I didn't say that but that is the reality of the NBA. Stars get calls. Dwight would have gotten a call if he was hacked. Kidd/VC/Jefferson will get the call. Hedo, at this point, will not.

We should be able to complain to our hearts content imo. That being said i'm done complaining. I just want to hear the post game or read the transcrips so I know what coach Jeremy has to say.

And on that last play, Turk was bumped, then hacked on the forearm, them Vince actually kicked the ball (watch it on replay). So many things could've been called on that play!

Again, the game came down to what it came down to. 25 seconds left, VC gets the call, Hedo doesn't. All that happened in the prior 47.5 minutes was in the past. The game was decided in those 25 seconds, and it was the refs who decided it. That's my stance on it, so I see no problem in complaining about it.

yea we dominated them until the 4th...then everything fell apart..no ball movement, people standing around, bad calls..no energy in the 4th..it looked like the magic players already won the game and wanted to go home
thanks for the insight, that sounds like the magic I know and it pisses me off even more that its on our own court
I didn't watch the game but I agree you can't depend on a call in the last few seconds to win u the game, if the magic had a 15 point lead its only their fault for blowing it

The **** frustrating thing is that this was similar to the Indy game also at home. Nice double digit lead in the 3rd, Granger gets hit really hard and picks up a tech complaining and it wakes up the team. Then they play angry and go from crap to unconscious were they cant miss a damm shot or do anything wrong. Same thing here, this time it was Dwight cathing the **** Nachbar with the elbow and that fired them up. It certaintly didnt help that the refs were inconsistant and allowed the Nets to hack without harm. The Magic cant allow crappier teams to do that at home. They didnt respond back like they should. **** frustrating to lose game you clearly should have won.

SVG didn't really say much on the post game interview. Just that their bench outplayed ours. He commented that Armstrong can do what he did because he only plays every 1-2 weeks but he can't do it everyday anymore. I wanted him to blast the team for not taking the nets seriously after an easy 1st quarter, Howad getting caught up on trash talking, etc. but he didn't.

Least satisfying postgame from SVG all season. Disappointed, in all honesty. He let all parties off the hook. It wasn't interesting.

man...what a CRAPPY game...to blow a 15 point lead period warrants a smack in the face, to lose it and blow the game, even worse...Hedo got too cocky with that last ditch effort, while Shard was open for 3...and Bogans with a NICE airball...haha...i have never been so furious at a game...this Magic team has me steamed right now...
Dwight needs to focus more under the basket...someone is feeding him bad info...your the primary foul target, if your not going to catch the rebound and dunk it with authority, grab it TIGHT, gather and go up...nearly a guaranteed trip to the line every time...not that a trip to the line would be that much better than missing it entirely, considering you still SUCK at shooting FT's but are sometimes lucky...
