I don't understand why the Cavs would want to do this deal. But as a Celtics fan to get rid of Veal's contract works for me.

I don't really get why the Celtics would do this. The Celtics are going to be way over the salary cap for the next few years so losing Scalabrine doesn't do anything for them. If they want the roster spot, they could just cut him, but of course there are only 13 players on their roster. Gabe Pruitt is the only player in the trade with any upside. I don't see them wanting to trade him for a 2nd round pick.

wow...thats 3 of 4 players I couldnt recognize if they would stand in front of me!

...in their jerseys

...on a nba-court

...with the comentator screaming their name

...and them telling me:"hey, I'm...."

but the sad thing about that is: the only player I would recognize is scalabrine :(
