How can a starting NBA center not be able to finish open layups?

The ref just told Deng, "my bad" about that no double dribble call.

Wallace is lethargic on both ends. Take him out. He's not rebounding or protecting the paint and he's not finishing at the hoop. Gray and Pryz would be a good matchup.

Deng always does that. 12-11 Blazers with 5:28 left in the 1st.

wtf are the refs watching out there? there was an obvious double dribble by webster, and they missed it.

I started Webster over Big Ben on my fantasy team today. That seems to have worked out.

Right before they went to commercial, one of the refs (the black bald guy) came up to Deng and said something like, "my bad". Look for a blatant makeup call soon.

I'm watching Aldridge very closely since I haven't seen him since last season. I'm not seeing much evidence that he's now a low post player or that he draws double teams through the first six minutes. He attempts to post a couple feet outside the paint near the middle hash mark, which I'd call mid post and not the low post. Admittedly, Kirk did run over once as LA attempted a hook over Smith.

If the court was 2 feet wider, Deng would be a superstar.

Joe Smith is been our most consistent player. He has a nice mid range jumper.

They miss something as blatant as the travel yet they can catch a quick foot out of bounds.. man.. some of these refs really have issues.
