Waiver advice.. Drop Wilcox?

Post#1 » by jorgo » Fri Jan 4, 2008 2:48 pm

Crushing my league. 9 standard cat- 12 team on yahoo.

Up by 13 points.

But I see some talent on the free agent list.

Players like
TJ Ford
Foye
Nene
Webster
Conley JR

Is it worth dropping Wilcox (my weakest link) for one of those guys?

My weakest cats are 3ptm and FG%

I wouldnt. I'm holding out hoping somehow Wilcox realizes hes the 2nd bets offensive option on the soncis and starts to avg something like 16 and 8 and i can dump him on somebody else :)

I'd hold onto Wilcox. He gives you FG%. The options you listed are too questionable for you to drop a player like Wilcox for--yet. I like Nene when he's healthy personally.

Indead. When Nene is catching fire, you may consider it again. Otherwise you better stick with Wilcox imo.

keep wilcox but keep an eye on Conley. my guess is conley may be a little overvalued for whatever reason (rookie/plays in uptempo offense) and you may be able to cash in on that
