Six Days Left Till Martin's COntract is Guaranteed

ON Jan 10, 2008 Martin's contract is fully guaranteed. If Ford isn't coming in any time soon, I would think BC do some kind of shuffling. It does not have to be a trade, but I think waiving DMart and bringing in a guy like Tarence Kinsey would be great (sign to a 10 day contract first) then sign him to a deal. Our 3rd PG is a complete joke. In some situations you never know when we need a 3rd PG. What if Calderon gets hurt or sick or plays really bad. I still dont have any idea of how this guy is still playing in the league for so long, when guys like Jalen Rose, Chris Webber, Penny Hardaway, and Allan Houston are no longer being used. :nonono:

In all honesty, if Stoudamire gets waived, lets pick him up !! (I wouldn't trade for him, because he still is expensive at 4.5 million for backup).

It's too bad Jalen Rose didn't know how to pass better or I would say he would be intriguing for our team again, as a backup to Jose that is.

I think they're going to cut him. Even with TJ out they still don't dress D-Mart which says a lot.

Well played sir. I voted to keep him just for what he brings in practices. We still have a very young team and it's nice to have a guy who can really mentor our crew.

I think D-Mart is good for our young PGs. They're learning what not to do in order to be effective.

If they bring in anyone else who doesn't chuck it up they might actually lose some of their playing time, but with D-Mart in the picture, they're not very concerned about that.

I would die if Zeke comes out of retirement to play for the Knicks. I'm somehow convinced it's going to happen now with that mess down there.

Oh, and we should waive Martin. He serves little purpose here.
