The BIRDMAN has landed!
This is the month he gets to be reinstated into the league. I'd say we should just go for him for a qualifying offer (around $1 mil). Not too sure if he's been physically active on the courts during his suspension from the league for 2 years, but just been hearing he has cleaned up his act. And criticizing him for doing dope back then should not give the impression that he'd do it again.
We need another athletic big (6'10") who can play hard-nose defense, great hands, has quick feet, a pretty good rebounder, and that can throw down some nasty dunks. A backup C if Beans gets into foul trouble.
Who's in for this?

Clips of some things he can do (even though it's towards him screwing up his chances with the NBA, haha).

I say go for it. It's not like he raped anyone.

Oh... not just dunking. The Birdman is a hell of a blocking defensive player. Unfortunely, sometimes... he is exactly like AB and forget his defensive assignment trying to block shots.
He has some crazy rebounding and blocking games. And he has some games too as compare to MBenga's Foyle hands.

someone really misses him...
I'd like to see him in a Warriors uni, but I don't think we have any room if we're going to sign another pg to spell baron.

I'd rather much dump Kosta since he seems worthless. He apparently WILL NOT fit into the uptempo system 'cuz the guy is slow as ****. Not too sure if New Orleans still has him under contract, but if he does end up playing for either team (GSW OR NOH), I'd be happy since Hornets are my favorite team when they were based in Charlotte. GO LARRY JOHNSON!! Haha!

2 years ago. But, pretty/decently impressive.
Can take the open 15-18 footers, initiate his own offense, get offensive rebounds...
But, who am I kidding? He looked to be playing against a 14-15 year old. Haha. I still think he got a competition over the little dude.
Lets just hope he got a lot better and seasoned up for this season...

And much more from what I hear... big time pass on this clown. Former D-Leaguers should be 100% heart, and this guy doesnt seem to have it...
His effort was never lacking. What he lacked was just good sense.
Heck if he was putting up 7, 6 & 1.5 on crank and shrooms, then we shoulda put foyle on drugs a long time ago.

Also why he couldnt complete a dunk... he wasn't sure which of the 3 rims to dunk in, plus the backboard was trying to eat him
Personally Id rather just draft Josh Heytvelt... he's still a kid, we could make him a run-n-gun doper by the end of the season...
BTW Sleepy I was referring to the desire to be in the NBA... taking drugs like X and shrooms (coke as well is the rumor) = lack of focus, lack of committment to being an NBA player... he got his payday and started kickin it with Tyrone Biggums..

X and Shrooms aren't something a kid picks up just because they suddenly have money. X if friggin cheap. I'm sure he has all these bad habits before his payday.
I can't argue the point about him lacking focus and committment to an NBA career. The rules/laws are what they are, and no matter how I feel personally about the rights an adult should have to put what they choose in their bodies, when your employer gives you some rules to follow, you follow them if you want the job. No arguement there.
But is would be funny as hell to watch him wash out again up close. Oakland + junkie + NBA has laughs written all over it.
