Due to Chicago and Milwaukee being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Chicago and Milwaukee had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

I don't think Memphis would turn it down, but I have a feeling Milwaukee would be keeping and screaming as their starting backcourt would resemble an under 6 feet 4 inch league.

Why would Milwaukee do this?

We get a worse version of Redd for Redd?

i really dont think that mo williams and ben gordon would be a good fit together in the same backcourt. As a bulls fan, i might do it. I like getting Gasol, but really hate losing tyrus thomas, if we dont get a good 2 guard.

Shorter version of Redd as well which wouldn't be good with Mo.
