top 25, top 20 at best. Playing with one of the top 3 (in my mind) players in the game as well as a very efficient and deadly outside shooter in Allen could open up things for any player with a halfway decent amount of talent. I'm betting you right now Redd could have done the same thing. Do I think either is a top 10 player?

The answer (or is it the Truth?) is an emphatic NO.

I'd rank him the same as I did before. He's excellent when he has a good team around him but he can't carry a team on his own/tends to give up on an ordinary team.

He's a top 25 or top 30 player though.

Players off the top of my head better (or in same cases, roughly on the same level) than Paul:

Kobe Bryant
Tim Duncan
LeBron James
Dwight Howard
Kevin Garnett
Steve Nash
Tracy McGrady
Carmelo Anthony
Allen Iverson
Dirk Nowitzki
Dwyane Wade
Baron Davis
Yao Ming
Jason Kidd
Chris Paul
Gilbert Arenas
Chris Bosh
Carlos Boozer
Elton Brand
Vince Carter

On top of that there are guys like:

Deron Williams
Shawn Marion
Amare Stoudemire
Brandon Roy
Ron Artest
Caron Butler

etc. who are very close to his level.

I really like Paul and have for a long time (also, pre-KG/Allen trades he's been inderrated for a long time), he's a very nice player, but top 10? No.

Good list Flite.

Original poster, why change the title?

This now deserves to be locked.
