Except the fact that Bargs is not a bust, and contributing. He was the runner up for ROY, did the Candyman do that?
Bargnani in his second season:
29 games 9.9 ppg (39.5 FG%) 3.5 rpg, 1 apg, 0.6 bpg, 0.2 spg, 1.4 TO
Olowokandi in his second season:
80 games 9.8 ppg (43.7 FG%) 8.2 rpg 0.5 apg, 1.8 bpg, 0.4 spg, 2.21 TO

In fairness to Bargnani (although I consider him as a bust), he's only playing 23 minutes to Olowokandi's 31 that season...
But still...

Unless you didn't notice, Kandi put those numbers up over his whole season while Bargnani has only played 29 games so far. Decent argument but easily trumped especially since one player played in the post grabbing boards and getting points from putbacks and the other shoots from the perimeter. Also, Kandi was older Bargnani is.
Ben Wallace second season:
67 games, 3.1 ppg, .518 FG%, 4.8 rpg, 0.3 apg, 1.1 bpg, 0.9 spg, 0.4 TO
Gerald Wallace second season:
47 games, 4.7 ppg, .492 FG%, 2.7 rpg, 0.5 apg, 0.3 bpg, 0.5 spg, 0.9 TO
Jermaine O'Neal second season:
60 games, 4.5 ppg, .485 FG%, 3.4 rpg, 0.3 apg, 1.0 bpg, 0.2 spg, 0.9 TO
.....and your point is what?

Ben Wallace - still to this day sucks on offense
Gerald Wallace - 12 MPG 2nd season
Jermaine O'Neal - 13 MPG 2nd season
The guys barely ever got into the games, and they all shot a FARRR better FG%.. Yes he scored 25 last night! he was on fire for a night.. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while.. Im not saying Bargs wont be a good player, but I dont think he becomes as good as one of those guys.. Mehmet Okur is a decent player, its not all bad that they got his little brother
And as far as the argument above about getting easy put backs from being down in the post, as opposed to being out on the perimeter.. thats what most efficient big men do.. tell your boy to man up and get some rebounds
