Celtics bandwagon: Baby on board

Post#2 » by UGA Hayes » Sun Jan 6, 2008 3:22 am

I thought this one deserved its own thread. Glen Davis has been a revelation this year. I didn't think he would be able to score this well on the NBA level, but he really seems to be a load with that shed weight. If you can do that to Sheed you can probably score on anyone. If he can play consistantly it would be a big boost to our championship hopes.

Big Baby Davis

Post#3 » by rambo_ortega » Sun Jan 6, 2008 3:26 am

Now who could've guessed what he would bring to our team? The NBA should take a look at him for the Rookie of the Year Ballot. He's awesome for his size and he knows where his spot is, plus he finishes strong inside with a soft touch for the and1. That explains how special this kid is. what a way to counter what jason maxiell brings for the pistons. I hope Doc continues to give him his confidence and i think he will be big in the playoffs like how he delivered today against the pistons. Especially with the unselfishness of KG and Pierce.

Big Baby was Huge. Gotta give Ainge credit, he keeps finding players with low draft picks.

That's NOT what he said. He said Big Baby should be considered for the ROY BALLOT. Meaning he should be CONSIDERED ... to be CONSIDERED amongst other ROY candidates.

If you're the one who can't read, how does that make us mentally (Please Use More Appropriate Word)?

Big Baby in games where he plays at least 20 minutes (6 games): 11 PPG, 6.3 RPG, 80 FG%.

Give this man 28 minutes a game and play him with Pierce at all times.

When Tyrus Thomas was leaving for the NBA, I said that Big Baby would be worth a lottery pick too at that time. Some people here poo-pooed that idea, and now they are rushing to get on a bandwagon for Big Baby.

Oliver Miller was the starting center for a team that went to the finals in his rookie year, so having skills and a wide body can take a team places.

Now that Big Baby is having an all-rookie year, would that make the car that he ran into in Italy a collectors item?
