Derrick Martin 18 to 1
Claderon 6.11 to 1
Nash 3.4 to 1
quite obvious that Martin has the best court vision of all PGs
Oh please...........the first two don't even qualify.

So do you believe bargs/bosh/hump are equally as intimidating to other teams as sheed/dice/max?
Seriously which group of bigs are teams more scared to play against?

No Grizzled...They are right. Assist numbers can be deceiving, and is not the be all end all to show that someone has court vision.
On the other hand, I agree with you that these other people are clearly underrating Jose's court vision.
This pisses me off to no avail.
Steve plays semi-pro soccer, has the leagues' best handle and has been quoted as growing up playing every kind of sport, but is "intelligent" and not athletic.
Calderon is built like a defensive back, with huge legs, but he beats people with his head instead of his physical gifts.
Here's the question, if these guys are so smart, why aren't they smart enough to learn how to play defensive angles or go over top of a screen?

If you didin't mean it as the be all end all, then I agree with you. Assists is just one determining factor of court vision. Just like assists is just one determining factor of a good passer.
For example. A pg makes 2 great passes to 2 different players on 2 separate plays. On one play, the receiver makes the basket and the pg is credited with an assist, while on the other play, the receiver misses the shot and the pg is not credited with an assists..............doesn't show up on the boxscore. The point is, both passes made by the pg were great passes, but he will only get credited with 1 total assist.
Stats aren't everything.
