I thought Kirk was about to take that three because his man left him to go guard and double team BG. When Wallace passed it back to Kirk he was wide open for the shot. I would have wanted Kirk to just took the shot or went in for the lay up but Wallace did good.

Fun, wacky game...

Tyrus had some iffy moments, but I though overall his play was awesome tonight. Very active, had a few incredible blocks in the 2nd half. Encouraging for his playing time, I'd think.

Nocioni and Hinrich really stepped up with Deng out, Hinrich was noticably better than he's been for most of the season, and same goes for Nocioni as of late. Naturally getting more oppurtunities helped with no Deng, though, also.

BG was BG, and came up huge with that three on the Brad Miller TO to make it 93-91 - just knew that shot was going down, too good of a shot and too big of a time. :)

Thought Brad had a point on both the contests by Ben and Duhon. At least the Duhon one, but I clearly saw contact with the arms on both shot contests. Anyway, I guess Ben's rep. and the refs missing the contact, got Ben the block. Great play, and kinda thought Ben would hit at least one of those FTs. Just one of those times where most wouldn't expect him to hit one at all, hoping he would, and he swished it.

No, I don't. You obviously missed my 2nd post prior to the game.

Because I changed my mindset on this game with Deng out. My initial post had the Bulls winning, which was before Deng was announced to not be probable for the game. But the next day I changed my mind before the game with it being a toss-up. Where either team could win. Knowing Deng was out. I didn't choose a winner.

And, so, it went like I thought it would. Come down to the final seconds, and either team could of won. The Bulls came up in the end.

I'm really disappointed that the game was so close. We got the win, but it's a bitter-sweet one.

Yeah Wallace got her done, and it was surprising to see how insane the UC got because of it, but this was against the Kings. If we did that against a respectable team they would have made us pay big for trying to pull some extremely lame stunt.

I love Wallace and it's great to see energy again from him, but damn don't play him in the last 30 seconds even Skiles wasn't that stupid.

I didn't expect us to run away with this.

Our offense has been abysmal, and our defense is overrated. The Kings got in the paint whenever they wanted, and we're 29th in the NBA in guarding the 3-point line.

We're bad.

That was clearly a foul on both Wallace and Duhon. Wallace slapped Miller's hand and Duhon was out of control.

Even senile old Red knew that putting Wallace in at the end of the game on offense was stupid. I wish Wallace had missed both free throws and gotten called for the foul on Miller to end the game, because I feel this game will only enforce Boylan's belief that Wallace needs to play at the end of the game.

good point. usually it's around this time that gordon gets re-inserted. (or is it a month or two later)?

Duhon has to go to the bench, or get traded. Don't get me wrong, I like Duhon and think he is great back-up point guard. With that said he should only get 15 minutes tops, and that is when he is playing well. He is playing pretty bad right now. With him and Wallace in the starting line-up it really is 3 on 5 on offense. And it's not like we have a big three scorers to compliment Duhon and Wallace. Duhon and Wallace would be perfect on the Celtics, not the Bulls.

Even though he is shooting terrible, he still has to take the open shot, if not the defense literally only has to guard 3 guys.

Start Thabo, lets get his confidence back. I wasn't when Gordon was benched but you can't argue with how he is playing (whether it is becuase of the benching, the coaching change, or the weaker competition I'm not sure).

wow did we get lucky today. The Bulls couldn't stop the driving to basket and are offense looked lost. Well, Tyrus had a good game, but still i rather i have Aldridge. Check out his stats so far in 26mins 7reb, 2 steals, 4 blocks, 19 points.

Im so glad we won this time around. It seemed we never get the breaks but we finally got one.

-Duhon

I believe Duhon has made like 2 shots since being put into the starting lineup. This is getting ridiculous. And the same thing happened last year. You may not want to get Gordon off his rhythm off the bench but dang..put Thabo in instead. Something. Duhon has been awful.

-Tyrus

HIP HIP HOORAY!! I actually do not know what to think because if Smith wouldnt not have been pretty bad early in the game, Tyrus probably wouldnt have seen the floor longer than the initial 5 mins. Tyrus did make a few mistakes, you dont measure players on if they are perfect or not. You measure them if they are making a positive impact on the game. Tyrus changed the game when he was in. Please please Boylan, play more Tyrus - through think and thin.

- Boylan

Im glad he has a set rotation, not too much with sticking with players ie vets for an extended period of time.

The 3rd quarter, we were strugling and he played the starters with Gordon for the first 10 mins of that quarter. He has done this often in his 6 games. Im not quite liking this. Especially when you have Wallace and sometimes Smith do nothing but get burned on defense. Give these guys a rest earlier in the game.

I did however like the fact that he played Tyrus with Smith which seems to be a very effective lineup.

Despite the win, I agree, it does say something about things so far... I don't know if this team can make the playoffs. I thought it was still there earlier on, as an average possibility, but not sure anymore. As the inconsistency, and not the same feeling from previous years is there. There needs to be consistency, at least as a solid streaky team. That edge has been lacking.

Going to be interesting to see what happens in the 2nd half of the season.

I really expect Tyrus to be rewarded from his game tonight, as a whole. The ups and downs are still going to be there, but in order to improve on those, he's gotta play some decent minutes with regularity. I don't really doubt his work ethic and coach-ability. Regardless, he really needed to slow down on that one turnover where he dribbled it down the court far and threw the ball away.

He looks like he can still play. I say suit him up and start him over Duhon.

Duhon needs to make a shot. I believe that's 23 in a row that have not gone in the hoop. I don't remember a guy missing 23 in a row before.

Duhon hit a shot in the Portland game (he was 1-for-6). So in the last 4 games, he is 1-for-21 (yikes!)

I'm very happy

Joe has been great this year and I have not given him a lot of credit. He didn't do too hot today but he's fulfilling his role.

Wallace is getting better

Benny Boy is in a groove

Noce was a man possessed

Thabo -- my MVP. Anyone who has done that poorly this year and had a good game (for himself), and gets some confidence, I couldn't be happpier

Please play Tyrus. Lets give him minutes. He's going to be a stud.

Gray vs Hawes -- Ali vs Frazier?

Noah... I want to see this kid get some more burn

Exactly. The mistakes shouldn't be exaggerated and looked at much more than positives. Which like said, Tyrus made a significant impact on the game.

If you want to look at it that way, it's actually 3 on 2 since Sac is missing Bibby/Artest/Martin. :P
