Not true. They won 47 games the year before, and were 29-39 on March 22 of the following season, before closing strong to reach 41 wins for the season.

Yes, but the Blazers add Steve Blake at the point. LaMarcus replaces Zach's production, and Roy was injured early last year, and ZACH injured late last year. This year Outlaw and Webster have finally justified their early hype.

The Bulls got no replacement for Curry at Center, so they struggled as they always do in the early part of the season.

The thing is how do we know the Blazers still wouldn't be good with Zach?

LaMarus really started to play this year. And Roy was injuried on the Blazers for the first two months of the season. Roy probably only played like 30 games together with Zach last year.

Finally some peeps making some sense.......

Z , with Portlands team this year , would excel.... Every one that comes to NY has their game go backwards and that is because of IT. None of these guys know how to win

So Marbury's game, for instance, suffered when he arrived here because of IT, even though two Hall of Famers, Lenny Wilkins and Larry Brown, were his coaches?

And the fact that two Blazers apparently asked the Portland GM to deal Randolph (at least according to what I've read here) should be given no weight?

All you need to do is to watch how they play AS A TEAM this season compared to last season. Last season the Blazers often played as dull and dead as the Knicks have been playing this season with players usually watching Randolph do his thing for hell or high water. Sure Randolph plays hard and he puts up great stats but at what detriment to the rest of this team? He may be better as a 2nd option on a more experienced team where roles are clear and with more veterans who won't be affected by it as much.

Z with Portland this year would likely still be taking as many shots as he did last season if not more so and would still be a black hole on offense and most likely would have help stunt the growth of Roy and Aldridge...and Webster and Outlaw and...

Why is it that we can use the "team got better" argument against Marbury but not against Randolph? At least in Marbury's case his former teams actually got a greater player to replace Marbury AND were already good before he left. Portland got a useless Steve Francis and a 6'11" twinkie for Randolph and the Blazers were terrible.

The Knicks didn't just start playing like this. I don't know how many games you have watched the last 3 seasons, but the Knicks have been playing like they are now since Curry was acquired. Don't blame our records on Zach. How many games has Q played efficiently since he was acquired from Phoenix. Tell the freaking truth.

Tell the freaking truth?

You should be the absolute last person on RealGM to tell someone else to tell the truth, you've got to be absolutely kidding me. You are the most delusional poster on this board and it's an absolute miracle that you apparently have yet to realize that rather simple fact.

The Knicks were playing a noticeably better than this last season before they lost 4 of their top 6 players due to injury. And even then they were better than this years calamitous squad.

But I'll humor you. IF Zach Randolph is so good, then why are they on track to put Larry Brown's nightmarish season to shame? Uhm, Um, Um....

And why would the Blazers be looking like one of the best teams in the Western Conference just one short season after being one of the bottom feeders?

Yeah that was the widely help belief that Roy was the one that spearheaded the campaign to push Randolph out of Portland though he publicly denied that early this season when asked (which obviously he had to do even if it was really true).

I am not going to argue with you. I know that you are frustrated and confused; thus, I will ignore you. However, the truth remains that we became a very bad team once we acquired Curry and Crawful. OUr record the last 3 seasons is my proof.

You do realize that Curry and Crawford didnt arrive at the same time ?If you wanna try and convince someone that the team with Penny,Anderson, jamison Brewer ,ariza, and Sweetney filling out the ranks was good then you will have to pass the ganja before you make these type statements .

Honestly, you wouldn't know the truth if it was pinned to Currys fat ass and he sat on you.
