Tyrus did good, I didnt get to watch the 1st half but saw the 2nd and it seems like he did what Boylan wanted. He was very active, going after loose balls and running hard and staying away from the perimeter.
The problem with Tyrus can he do that all the time. He needs to understand his game is being very active around the basket.
As for Wallace he was huge and it shows you that he is a valuable guy for us.
We need to make a deal though. Wallace and Smith should start and Noah and Tyrus come off the bench. We need to ship Noc for a two guard. Would Clips do Noc and someone for Mag? Noc needs to go,

I know the team is not into tanking. Thats why its good when they lose, while still fighting. I think you guys need a major rebuild, right now, but getting rid of Bibby for expirings and youngs, Artest+some contract for expirings and youngs, and then develop the youngs. Looking at the West, it looks extremely strong. This is just my opinion, but I hope you agree.
If you guys weren't already decimated by injury, and in a major disadvantage record-wise, I'd say compete. But with this start, and these injuries, in that conference, you're better off rebuilding.
Eh, we are kinda split on rebuilding but as a fanbase and the front office of the Kings, they KNOW we are (6/7/8 seed in the west when healthy) We might give it a try ONE more time if HEALTHY we are GOOD if not we rebuild IMO...

How can a professional NBA player miss these man WIIIIIDDDDDDEEEEEE Open shot after open shot??? Even I can make couple of opens shots a game. This is like what 4th year in a row and Duhon is still a pathetic shooter.
I would rather have Thabo in the game to start. Atleast we won't have to double anyone with Size in the backcourt. Thabo can really steal the ball and Block and also is a good rebounder - not to mention a solid defender as well.
I don't understand, we have talent but we don't use it.
You know I felt like slapping Redd Kerr when he said that Duhon is having a solid game with 3 asts early in the first half.
Duhon has been AWFUL. The only reason why he is in, is because the coaching staff has a superstition that Duhon must be good luck or something. There is no other way to actually justify Duhon starting. And its not even like Duhon has been slowing anyone down. Duhon is pretty bad on both ends right now.
Like you said, at least Thabo will be a legit defensive disruptor based on size and length. He is an above avg rebounder and can be great defensively. His offense is still shaky but come on, it cant be any worse than Duhon.

But you're not healthy. And Artest WILL opt out, so you sort of have to decide this season, either go for the playoffs, resign Artest, keep Bibby, and you guys just aren't good enough to justify that. At BEST, you're a 6/7/8 seed, with no chance of making real noise, quickly aging. I won't argue anymore, but what I said is still true. In my belief, both teams won tonight.

You're right that Duhon is awful recently, but the problem is, we don't have a third guard worth a damn offensively. Thabo is a 3, who still isn't worth much of a damn offensively. Deng can MAYBE mask that if he can play some 2 against certain matchups, but its a roster flaw, not a coaching flaw.

I think Thabo should start. I think it was Mike Mcgraw not sure, so dont quote me on it. But they were saying that the Bulls wanting to get Thabo confidence up and eventually put him in Du place this year. I know it was in a paper just not sure if it was daily herald or chicago sports.
Thabo doesnt need to score, We have Deng, Smith and Hinrich to do that. He just needs to defend and rebound and push the ball. If Thabo took 2 shots all game I would be fine, you just have to know your role and his role would be defend.

Umm, assuming that the specified question is that you are really asking a question: Eh, we are working on the deal...

Also to follow up, even if Thabo is not a good shooter or anything but he is good at taking the ball to the hoop and is one of the better finisher around the basket we have.
Those things atleast help him over duhon. But IMO, coaching staff has something with Duhon, he doesn't turn over as much and he gets good enough assists in their eyes and that is good enough for them but imo, he is producing net NEGATIVE on our team and we must do something about it.
I would rather have Thomas Gardner over Duhon right now. Hinrich and Gardner would be better than Duhon and Hinrich. Gardner can shoot and opens up the lane for drive and kick game. Gardner is not a bad defender either. But We did cut him so why not use Thabo???
Why not try it for few games and see what he can offer in about 15 or so minutes a game?
I bet $1000 that he would be better than Duhon and would help us more win games.

That kinda is my point though. We dont have any of those guys worth anything offensively. But at least defensively we wont be midgets either. At this point, Id rather take my chances on Thabo to see what this guy has. I mean what do we lose by it anyway. Gordon will come in for him after a few mins anyway just like with Duhon now. Duhons boxscore nearly every time Gordon comes in is usually something like 0-2 2asts maybe 1 reb.
The thing is, we have suffered bigtime this year, because Kirk hasnt been as good defensively as in years past. Now Kirk is also the one getting eaten alive. Since that is happening, we basically are at the mercy of big guards who will either just take it to the hole at will or just shoot outside shots all day. At least with Thabo, its a legit big that can help in that area.
Think about how much better we can be with a confident Thabo.

We will be healthy by Mid to late January...So, IMO we will make a late run for the playoffs...
You just cant assume that Artest will opt out IMO...

I don't know why you guys are giving kingsfan such a hard time because you think the Kings should tank. Before this game they had an identical record to the Bulls and they've had far more injury problems and play in the West. A whole lotta people would say that the Bulls need to completely rebuild just as much as them.
And I think Kevin Martin's better than any player on the Bulls.

The difference is that we play in the east, we were 3 games out, not 6, we weren't relatively unhealthy, and we're not aging all that fast. But this is about a Bulls win, not about the Kings.

Thanks... I really like Bulls posters (IMO they are one of the BEST around RealGM) But they are pretty uninformative regarding other teams situation such as the Kings....
