I'll admit, memphis might hesitate here.
I see the knicks doing it. Wallace is actually playing ok, just WAY overpaid (perfect for the knicks). He would help that team, swift is much better than rose and the finances work out VERY well.
I forgot to mention that swift and wallace conviently come off right when lebron might hit FA. NY is gonna suck eitehr way, but wallce over curry makes them more respectable and the fans would like to see some D.
The bulls, except for the money, obviously do it. I thought of noc in over thabo and gray, maybe leave gray and the pick. that wouldn't be a deal breaker but not my first choice
for griz, I know curry is not a great runner, but he is young. they could really use someone on the low blocks to create space for miller and gay, even darko. He's younger and much cheaper too.
Thabo and gray are not worthless-not huge assests but both rotation players.
the pick COULD be in the lottery-i doubt it, but it could. Memphis rollls the dice there.
The $ savings are big time here, not a minor matter.
could memphis do better? maybe, but this is fair all around for them.
The bulls make out great, but it's still fair
did I solve Gasol to bulls?

The thing is ... that's exactly what Gasol does best, yet Coach I is not using Gasol in that manner.
Without looking at the values being exchanged, I think memphis declines this deal simply because the talent coming back doesn't fit - in fact, it fits worse than the talent going out.
