Yea I remember that. I didn't like it but Casey is known as a great teacher of the youth. He may have taken too long with Rashad but he got results.
Rashad was playing way better when Casey let him loose in the nd. He brought him along very well and at the time we were trying to win now so there wasn't much of a reason to let a rook get heavy minutes if he was going to make ,mistakes.
But Casey definitely had his issues, however he was rookie coach. He was learning just like the rookies he coached and he was hard worker. I think he just needed to be in a different situation. I think he needed to be on a rebuilding team where he would have had time to make mistakes and learn from them.
The wolves wanted to win now and they didn't have time to wait on Casey, I understand that but then why hire Wittman if you are going to rebuild? They should have kept Casey for our current situation. I think Wtt is more suited for a veteran team, he doesn't seem to have the patience or ability to teach the youngins properly.

When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

yeah but the game is already over. and I said it that I can live with it but it won't get us that close to them. the mavs are way better today
but why isn't richard playing??
Yeah, but we were never really in the game, so really ALL the baskets could be called stat padding, plus he's doing what he's supposed to do. Make baskets. Plus McCants didn't get many minutes earlier in the game due to foul trouble. I guess I just don't see how he's stat padding...

Maybe we should reserve judgment until more than 1 quarter has been played huh big3?
lol, yeah, I ate my words...and clearly I'm happy about it, because my avatar is evidence that I'm a big McCants fan...plus we need him to produce.

Foye didn't play a single 30+ minute game in December either...but he did have a 6 minute and 7 minute game
dang, McCants is ballin'

I have been saying this for some time now. We need to let McCants get started early and we need an outside threat for when they start throwing double and triples at Big Al.
And I didnt think about it till Jim said it but Foye and McCants have never even really played together. Only for a small period of time when McCants got back last year, but neither got major burn.
Screw Mayo and Gordon, our backcourt looks fine. Drafting either Mayo/Gordon only further hurts the development and confidence of McCants.
