Heat pass easy on that deal. But I think the Grizzlies get ripped off in the GS one.

We're not interested in trading Dorell for Mighty Midget. Maybe Smush+Zo's contract if he really isn't coming back and doesn't care, but nothing else. He won't help us do anything but get a worse draft pick.

Miami'd ask for Lowry or something. That's Wright's value to them. So you can scratch that trade off.

I'm all over that Jaric trade. Green, Gomes, or a 2nd could be added from the Wolves, too.

Yeah. Warrick's more valuable than all of those pieces combined IMO. Pietrus+POB have little value. And Stoud isn't that great either.

Since Wolves have two early seconds this year (theirs and Miami's) and limited roster space, they'll probably end up selling one of the 2nds anyway if they don't trade it away; it'd probably be my first choice for throw in if anyone is willing to take on Marko for a two year contract. This trade would be perfect.

How about Scal and 1st for Stoudamire? Not any worse than the ORL deal

Dorell Wright
Alonzo Mourning

For

Damon Stoudamire
Memphis getting an expiring and a young player for the undersized Damon!!! What a joke!!!

Even the Grizz takes out Dorell, they will not receive an expiring contract for Damon. No team will trade their expiring contract for him.

If the Grizz wants expirings for Damon, they better sweeten the deal.

I think the OP got the value right. The problem with Jaric isn't that he isn't useful, or that he's a little overpaid, but its because his deal runs four years. I definitely wouldn't add Gomes (15-9 over his last 10 games) or the 2nd this year. Maybe I'd add Green, but even though they didn't extend him, they might still try to re-sign him if he starts to take advantage this year of his jaw-dropping physical ability.

Stoudamire's deal is shorter, but he's a whole lot less useful, and has a history of attitude issues as well. Moving Stoudamire is like weeding the garden for MEM, giving their promising young PG's room to grow. Adding Jaric gives them a useful player -- he just costs money down the road. I think the deal straight up is fair.

Jaric is a good backup PG/SG Option. Basically insurance incase JCN doesn't resign or there are injuries

If Stoudemire is still a poor shooting non defensive player that he's always been, there is no need for him in Cleveland at all. In fact Ferry and Brown are on record of not being interested in him.

I think the Cleveland deal is the best suited for them. I mean Damon Jones hasn't played in 2 weeks up untill todays game vs the Raps and has asked for a buyout or trade so I think it could work out for both sides.

Memphis could use Damon Jones' shooting touch but I don't see him getting huge PT in Memphis though so that could be a factor. There is a small rumor that Toronto is intrested in him and offered a Graham + Dixon for Damon and Warrick or a filler I will have to recheck the sire again for the exact details.
