JCraw Deserves More Shots
In that Sonics game, the announcers were putting him in the same class of Kevin Durant. I can't believe New York has its own Kevin Durant, but ignores him most of the time. It's time to forget about bums like Zach Randolph and Eddy Curry, time to give JCraw license to be as much of a blackhole as they are. On our dysfunctional team, a JCraw oriented offense might turn him into the Kevin Durant type talent he deserves to be.

Fire Isiah?! **** fairweather fans. In Toronto he drafted Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter. That would've set up a dynasty if the team had kept them. We got one of the brightest GMs, **** the media. We're not going to be the joke of the league for much longer. Wait till Derrick Rose shows up, then you will see.

He's looking out to be a huge bust. He will win ROY honors this year. But that is only because his game is entertaining to watch. That does not mean he is a good player.
It's not only the tools you have, it's how you use them.
You are kidding, right?
Durant is being misused by PJ with the excuse being that he is not strong enough to play PF. Even if you go by that logic, he should play SF.
Playing Durant at SG takes away any speed advantage he has, because he's one the perimeter trying to create from 18 to 20feet -- sort of like when you see a smaller player neutralize Nowitzky.
Durant has all the tools and is far from being one dimensional. He's going to be putting Shawn Marion-type numbers for years.

I can only go on what I've seen so far. He was unreal in college and has a wonderful shot. I agree he should play SF, but I'm not really sure that that woud change much. Overtime, he certainly might develop into the player he looked like he could be in the nba, but so far, based on the few games I've seen and the way his team is doing, he hasn't produced nothing yet. I'm rooting for him, but have been dissapointed by what I've seen (other than his 30 point massacre of the knicks).
If he puts up Marion numbers, I will be ecstatic. The kid is a class act, a hard worker, and wonderful to watch. But don't believe the hype just yet. He is not having a good season.

god shammgod wrote:so a 40% shooter who takes the most shots on the team and barely leaves the perimeter needs more shots ???? am i reading this right
you clearly don't get it god shammgod. jamal might be a 40% shooter, but he takes a lot of shots. that makes him a scorer.
everyone knows you have to score the most points to win a basketball.
so we need to give the ball to our scorers...

but no slamvangundy, zach shoots 45%, maybe he should take more shots than jamal because he's definitely a scorer and 45 is better than 40.

you want to give someone more shots, then give it to nate.
hell's yes. as someone who doubted nate from day 1, i am glad to say he has proven me wrong. he is constantly showing improvement in his game and looks like a great piece. why aren't we featuring our offense around this kid?
