Amare misses practice

http://www.azcentral.com/sports/suns/ar ... ce-CR.html

I didn't watch the post game interview yesterday but apparently he looked pretty mad and he didn't look impressed at all when Mike put Marion on Chandler and then took Amare out for a long time

Interesting

He CONTACTED them, so I doubt it's anything involving D'Antoni's lack of realization that he is and should be the #1 option.

I saw a couple of plays in last nights game where Amare was posting up Chandler almost directly under the basket and Nash motioned to him to come out and set a pick for a Pick and Roll. I know this is Nash's team and all but come on, give our #1 offensive threat the ball when he's posting up under the basket.

Who the heck knows why Amare missed practice but the bottom line again as many people are noticing is we lose when Amare shoots under 12 times a game and Nash has to try anc carry our offense. It's not a crime to Isolate Amare sometimes and not run a pick and roll every single freaking time. If Amare shoots more than 16 times tommorrow versus Denver I love our chances if not I dont' like them at all.

we have been feeding amare, but in that last game, you would have noticed that the hornets purposely covered stat and marion on every pick and roll and left nash open to shoot

hence nashs scoring and amare and marions low FGA's

read the game thread, i commented on this many times

Meh, there was still multiple times I saw him wide under the basket. They have done a much better job feeding him of late, but they gotta be consistent.

Same thing happened from Nov 28th to Dec 4th (4 games), tons of touches, then inconsistent throughout til this recent surge of his from a bunch of looks.

They did do a good job defending him for the most part, I agree.

Well personal reasons are personal reasons. Amare work ethic is well documented so I dont think he would miss practice because he doesnt feel like going. Personally Its not like Dantoni teaches these guys anything during practice.
