well, i think our team would be BEST with Calderon with the starters, because we have guys who can get to the basket.
if we had TJ coming off the bench our players would really do better because of it. Kapono would get open looks, Hump would get easy layins and Garbo and Delfino would be able to play off of TJ in the fashion that we know that they can.
I actually think that TJ is the more talented player, but inconsistency as well as the need for a draw and kick game for our 2nd unit leads Ford to the bench.
People who are saying that Dixon is the problem are wrong. He is simply being played out of position. I would actually say that he is doing a fine job filling in at PG and is serving as a nice asset to the team. I guess its just a 'half full' mentality...

Jose made everything go with the 2nd unit and had a real good handle on keep the offense moving.
Without him there it turns into a chuckfest.

Yep. Our bench is incapable of creating shots...with a very good point guard, they are an asset. With Juan Dixon or Derrick Murray helming the ship, they are a massive liability.

**** your asterisk.

What was supposed to be our strength has turned into a liability.
Losing TJ is huge and it's becoming more obvious each game. And I say that as someone who prefers Jose at the point.
Losing Garbo is hurting us more than I thought it might. As Sam said, half the time you don't know how he does it, but he gets the job done.
While I agree with starting Bargs, it's basically sacrificing Rasho. He's ineffective coming off the bench. Tough dilemma.
Joey needs to go. He's done in TO.
Bottom line, you're losing four major contributors from last season. That leaves us with Kapono, Delfino and Hump. Neither of those has played particularly well recently in the last three games. Delfino's been awful.
We're just lucky that Moon has filled some holes, though I still don't think he's a legit starter.
I agree with Jack in the post game show: It might only be January, but it's "circle-the-wagons" time. If the Bulls and Cavs wake up from their slumber, and Orlando keeps rolling, we could be in a world of hurt...

I really think Pono could be valuable coming off of screens like Rip. The guy is money if he gets space.
Opposing defenses have extended beyond the 3pt line leaving the lane wide open for penetration. Jose has not taken advantage of it at all, TJ would be killing teams for that.
