Top NBA Assistants
Who are they? And who would be the best candidates for a new coaching gig this offseason?

If you didn't care, then why did you post? This forum isn't all about post counts, you know.

Tim Grgurich is an excellent, excellent assistant. I wanted the Lakers to go after him so badly.

Ah yes, Tim, not Greg.
Apparently Grg was the only person that could convince Kmart to come back on the court when KMart blew up on Karl in the playoffs a couple years ago. Everyone loves Grg.

For Miami, it's gotta be Eric Spoelstra. He might very well be the heir to Riley, once Riley calls it a career.
Spoelstra's been here for nearly 12 years. He started off as the team's video guy, created all the game tapes for the players and placed them in their lockers before each game.
He's now one of Riley's lead assistants, and has been a lead assistant for quite some time for this team.
He's also one of coaching staff's best teachers. -- He's worked with basically all the youngsters that come in and help them with their shooting, and you see the difference in their games almost immediately.

What about Herb Williams? I'm not a Knicks fan, so I can't say for certain anything about him, but he seems like he'd make a good head coach.
