the hottest team usually goes far....until they meet the spurs, the pistons, celtics, suns, blazers, nets, bulls, heat, denver, mavs, warriors, rockets, pacers, lakers, jazz, and the wizards.

we'll be fine

Why after every heartbreaking loss do some people think a major shake-up is the only solution?

Are we 100% healthy? Were we expected to be an elite team this year? Even if we where an elite team, wouldn't we still have some heartbreaking losses.

Nurse is below average at best.
Masai is overrated.
I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

There's an element lacking on this current club, I just don't see the same attitude and toughness we had last season. I really don't believe as the current team is constructed that we'll be able to capture that element moving forward. Sure it's only 34 games in, but how many more games do we let pass by before we realize that we might need some change.

And it's not even about being elite, but it's the way we're competing, how we lose and the way we look when we lose.

So, what about the gutsy wins vs. the Spurs and Hornets last week?

Seriously, people are complaining after back to back losses vs. arguably the best professional team in the world (Pistons) and the best player in the world (LeBron)?

Sad.

Whatever, man. I'm not one to bi-ch or complain, and I don't think that's what I was doing by starting this thread. I'm just describing what I see with this team as is, if you want to choose to see something else, so be it.

And it's not just after those two losses, it's something that I've seen most of the season now, and I know we've had a tough schedule of late. And it's not even about our record to date, 17-17 is fine with what we've gone through, no doubt. But I just don't feel that the team is going to take off from here like they did the prior season, there's a different feel about this team. I hope I'm wrong and 15-20 games from now we're not a .500 team going into all-star break.
