PG: Deron Williams, Earl Watson (he could be picked up at the trade deadline or earlier because seattle is looking to move ridnour or him), Ronnie Price*/D-League player
SG: Ronnie Brewer, Kyle Korver, Morris Almond
SF: C.J. Miles, Matt Harpring, Morris Almond
PF: Andrei Kirilenko, Paul Millsap, Mehmet Okur/D-League Player
C: Carlos Boozer, Mehmet Okur, Kyrylo Fesenko

i believe that we could get earl watson for jarron collins and jason hart *(ronnie price may have to be included for seattle to take the deal. if he is included, i would look for the jazz to call someone up from the d-league to be the third string point guard. they might also call up someone from the d-league to be the third string power forward. i doubt that they would, however.). i think for c.j. to keep playing well, he should remain with the starters and be the shooting threat that our offense needs.
korver would be a good backup for ronnie brewer because he would bring a change of pace and would give us instant offense of the bench.
on a lighter note, kirilenko would have given us a much better chance against the blazers. he could have slowed down martell webster in the third quarter and may have also been able to keep travis outlaw at bay in the fourth quarter.

Ok, who's the tool who voted for Collins? I can pretty much give you a guarantee that Collins and Harpring will not be in the doghouse. If anything they are in Sloan's bedroom chamber.

At the time of the trade, the cantankerous Charley Rosen proffered Kyle Korver would eventually frustrate Sloan with his 'one-dimensional game'. Although not a Rosen acolyte, I do tend to agree with his basketball analysis, even if he has trouble seperating Arthur from Martha at times.

I will add that twice already in his short tenure Korver has fouled three-point jumpshooters. Then again, Sloan often complains about lackadaisical close-outs, so maybe his zeal is enthusing his coach.

Mind you, this assumes there is such a thing as 'Sloan's doghouse'.

I kind of disagree with the "one dimensional" knock. Obviously he is a shooter, but he seems like a smart guy...seems to know where to put the ball, very intelligent.

We will have to give him time and see what happens.

If the Jazz are going to use Memo as trade bait like I think they will, Memo will not be the one to not get much playing time by being in Sloan's dog house. Miles is young and is not likely to stand up to Sloan and does not have a contract past this season, for these two reasons I think he might be the one. Maybe Sloan is finally beginning to realize that dicing players in public is detrimental to the player and the team. One can only hope he is finally going to make some needed changes so his players want to play hard for him. You must be fair with the way you treat your players. Getting on to Miles for his defense while ignoring Memo's and Boozer's sends the wrong message to the entire team. It was the same with Girecek. I am sure it ate at him to have Sloan on his case for his defense, while Memo and Boozer's total lack of giving a defensive effort were ignored. Maybe Sloan does read our post. I said a few days ago that he should rotate his players in and out of the game, keeping them fresh and sitting those starters not performing for more minutes. No one played more than 26 minutes last game and we won big.

Trust me.. Korver isn't much of an improvement other than being solid. CJ Miles is younger and it is putting better numbers with less minutes.

Talking about CJ... he sure will be in the dog house if he keeps fouling out so soon. I guess it is the liability of having a 20 year old toddler playing. Jazz and Portland are the Rugratz!
