Hopefully he can produce with this opportunity he's being given.
Long time overdue.

But they have to continue this when redd comes back. And no, for those idiots out there that think this is stupid, it doesn't mean bogut becomes a 20ppg scorer, but it will help open up the perimeter game, and most likely bogut will show he's definitely a consistent threat for 15 ppg. or more.
The fact that this team never really tried to work it into andrew baffles me. Sure he's not a "Elite" scorer, but he can score, and its not like going down low to andrew more often will cut into mo, redd, and the others shots much, but it will lead to easier buckets.
Smart basketball, and we also can get a better handle on if our former number one pick can handle more responsibility. I'm betting he can.

In any case, now the bitching that has proceeded from the New York, er, sorry, I get confused sometimes-Milwaukee RealGM crowd since literally Game 1 of Bogut's first preseason game in his rookie year can cease.

The man has never shown he can command a double team. In addition, he is has not shown he can consistently hold the post inside even against one person.
When you have a 23 second shot clock--it doesn't really "open things up" from outside when no one leaves their man to double, and he has to pass again to somebody when he is pushed away from the basket.
You guys are operating under a fallacy that this is youth, high school, or college basketball. In which the trend is moving away from post play anyway.
How many "plays" do you call for a center that is good? You screen for him and let him roll to the block sometimes, or the hoop, but come on. You don't run many quick hitters for a center.
He's either dominant down low when you give him the ball, or he's not. And AB is not.
However, I still hold out hope that he can evolve into the 17-10 guy I thought he would be...
