Post#43 » by Biggame 33 » Tue Jan 8, 2008 10:34 pm

I think this trade would be a little better .
Also it was successful on the trade checker.

Chris Duhon
Tyrus Thomas
Ben Gorden

Chicago gets

yes, this was proposed before & i remember it working

key is that we can get Gasol without trading Wallace - but we better trade Deng or Gordon in the deal because we'll lose one for sure since JR will not pay Lux Tax

Well it wasn't about Stoudamire the player, it was about Stoudamire the contract.

If they swap Wilkens for Damon, they'll have about $18 mill in expiring conracts next year. That's a real nice figure that would make them one of the best trade destinations. I would think that's enough incentive for them to help out in the trade, especially since Wilkens has been in the dog house lately.

If Sam repeats this enough times, does it become true?

Have not tried this on the trade checker, but I would prefer substituting Nocioni for Duhon and Thomas, and would throw in Griffin as an expiring. This would leave us really thin at shooting guard, but we can continue going small with Kirk and Duhon, play Thabo more and give Nichols a chance to prove himself. We'd also have room to pick up a shooting guard via trade.

Remind me, where is Kevin Garnett playing these days?

So...no.

Wasn't that the Candyman?

(I only read the Stephen King short story of the Lawnmower Man and never saw the supposedly bizarre film adaptation. If you did, you've delved even more deeply into film trash than I.)

You could be right, I've never read or seen a movie of either. My joke has lost some emphasis now.

I should have just said Beetlejuice.
