You guys won't be able to beat the Celtics. I don't mind you hyping up an anticipated game, but you will lose and we all know it. Hate to burst the bubble, but it's just how it goes. Now, if it's a competitive game with a rivalry were W's toss around side to side as much as L's, that's cool. But you guys are nothing compared to the Boston Celtics.

I don't think we quite got the point. Could you be a little more clear?

Why are we talking about Boston? Game isn't until Saturday.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

Agreed. Songaila is too small to be effective at denying an entry pass. Yao would just stand under the basket and put his hands up. The guards would lob him the ball and he would dunk it.

Haywood and Blatche will have to get the job done. If we want to try to make Yao work on the perimeter, we should use Blatche. His jumper has been pretty decent lately, and he has a quick enough first step to get around Yao when Yao comes out to challenge. Plus Blatche has the length to front Yao with some degree of effectiveness on defense.

But overall, the responsiblity to defend Yao will fall upon Haywood. Haywood will get the job done. Don't worry. He has successfully neutralized every good low post man he has faced so far. It was Turkaglu that beat us when we played Orlando, not Howard.

How do you do sarcastic again?

I obviously wouldn't really want Songaila and AJ covering him.

Remember, I'm a broken record AB and BH man.

They're unfortunately against many teams much less efficient offensively when AD isn't the PG.

I think the Wizards with, for instance, Wilks at PG are better than average defensively.

Im going to miss the little dude. Loved his perimeter D.

Well that's game.. Wizards picked a good game to decide to turn the ball over 100 times and give up an insane amount of points to team with a poor offense.

Battier has shut down Butler. Didn't think anyone in the league could actually "shut down" Caron (just limit him), but Battier is doing it.

It'd be nice if Houston missed a perimeter jumpshot. You know....just for kicks.

Eddie, Caron is not Gil and neither is Deshawn. No point in running isos at the end of quarters. Why not just run the normal offense?

I don't understand why we don't run the offense when there's 20-30 seconds left and we have the ball.

Caron might get a bucket (since he's pretty good 1 on 1), but our offense is pretty tough to crack, and more times than not, we either get a good shot or a made shot out of it.

Just run the offense.

I hate it when EJ bring in 3 reserves at once.

It doesnt usually work

Songaila, AB and NY all at once.

I dont think EJ has figure out the obvious yet.

We needed to go big against them. We are falling behind and they
dont even have YM in.

We would be better off letting AD or NY do that.

Ball should be in AD hands. Let him crack the puzzle.

We look great against horrible teams like Milwaukee and Miami and we look absolutely awful against good or even simply average teams like Houston. Every game against better competition we play the same way; turnovers, bad shots, inability to guard the 3, too many easy shots for the opponent, etc, etc..
